Our Foresteria ( Guest House ) was started in 1958 as a centre designed to accomodate foreign visitors from Protestant churches around the world. Most of these early visitors wanted to learn more about Waldensian history and to see historic Waldensians sites. Thus, for many years, the Foresteria served as a venue of international encounters among protestants, and a former Beckwith school building provided the initial nucleus. Later a meeting room was added on, which took its name from the Waldensian Pastor who had initiated the project: Pastor Achille Deodato.We have a number of meeting rooms so that we are able to accomodate several groups at the same time for conferences, communal meals and other encounters. The main dining room can seat 200 guests. Guests who choose the full pension solution can enjoy a fixed menu for lunch and dinner, but, upon request, we can also offer a special menu to vegetarians or those seeking low-calorie meals. We can also provide festive " themed" meals or simply delight you with a menu based on our freshly prepared regional specialities, with a particular emphasis on local dishes from the Val Pellice. In 2004, the Foresteria attained ISO 9001-SGS certification. In order, to maintain our commitment to high quality for our guests, at aur own request, our performance is regularly monitored by the Managemend and Quality Assurance Board. Others buildings were incorporated later including the "Pensionnat", which was build in 1873 as a school and which later housed an Historical Museum. In 1989, this structure was re-designed to provide 16 guest rooms. The " Old Farmhouse" biulding has 12 rooms and the "Casa Beckwith" a further 18.
